Nashville is a vibrant and up-and-coming city and the schools in our city should be a reflection of who we are and what we can do. Jennifer is running to be the next State Representative from Nashville because she and her husband want to raise a family in a place that provides quality public education not just for their little one on the way, but for everyone's kids. Access to quality public education matters and Jennifer plans to keep this issue high on her agenda.

Jennifer's hope is that every child in Nashville can grow up to live the American dream--to live successful, prosperous and happy lives that give back to the community--but too many kids are slipping through the cracks. To keep the American dream alive, we must ensure the opportunity for a quality public education remains in our community.

Jennifer knows our state is at its best when we are strengthening our students' classrooms and expanding opportunities for college and career readiness. We need community-focused, smart education policies in Nashville. Changes should include and empower our teachers to help build an educated work force to attract the jobs of the future.

Nashville is a city that values universal pre-K and is expanding that program at a local level, and Jennifer will work tirelessly to ensure our state government also supports the most vulnerable students in our midst.

As your State Representative, Jennifer will do everything in her power to support our teachers and our kids, protect and improve public education, increase access to pre-K, fight vouchers, strengthen our classrooms, and empower our children.
